Estúdio Tupi: architecture, façade and common-area interiors
Founded by Andrea Vosgueritchian and Aldo Urbinati, Estúdio Tupi signs the architecture, façade and common-area interior concept. At MO.dO Copacabana, the façade revisits the blue cobogó of Rio’s design tradition, using it both for solar protection and as a visual identity.
Art integrated into the architecture
Mário Bands is responsible for the artistic concept and the lobby and rooftop panels. The off-white, deep-blue and wood palette grows from the architectural materials themselves, allowing the art to work as an extension of the building.
